7 Prayers For Your Daughter to Meet a Godly Husband

I had no idea that children could figure out their parents' buttons so early. I'm deaf to my 2 year old daughter's whining. I just don't respond. This, of course, just reinforces the fact that whining DOES work so she starts in on me the next time daddy isn't around. I never give in to her whining, but I'm close to losing my mind! I know we all have to address this, but how on earth do I start? You and your husband need to get on the same page about how to discipline your child.

Ignoring the whining might not be the right way to start with a 2 year old. If she is talking get down on her level and look her right in the eyes and say what did mommy just say about that.

When it's time to have what you want I will get it for you or you already had one for today. Give her an answer to why you won't give in. You always want to keep the lines of communication open with your children or they may grow up not talking to you because you didn't listen.

Toddlers need a firm vocal not screaming response - redirect and refocus on something positive - get her busy doing something else. You and your husband need to get on the same page and present a united front or you will have trouble throughout her youth. Let her know whining is not an appropriate way to ask for something and you would love to hear what she has to say without the whining.

Tell him he is teaching her to grow up and become a manipulative woman and it's not cute now and sure won't be cute when she's an adult! He needs to teach her to be independent without resorting to immature tactics to get what she wants. Have him explain to her that he wants to hear what she has to say, but he will not listen as long as she's whining. Then he needs to walk away. If it gets on his nerves that bad that he can't tune it out, then tell him to go to another part of the house and shut the door.

If he doesn't he will seriously regret it, because nobody, I mean nobody wants to be around a whinny, rotten, spoiled teenage or grown woman. Including him! Whip out a parenting book throw facts at him and be like look its annoying now but picture it forever when she doesn't get her way when she is 18 she will be throwing fits in public and shes an adult then how will he feel.

You're doing the right thing even though it is the harder row to hoe. Your husband isn't a child. Quite the contrary. Just sit down and explain to him why his method of giving isn't working. We had the same problem at the beginning of our coparenting. My daughter's father would give her anything to keep her from whining! I seriously had to explain to him, that parents must be on the same page when it comes to raising children!

If you give a child whatever they want to stop the crying now, it will be you that is crying later, because of the monster you created! But, in all seriousness show him examples explain to him what happens when parents always give into a child's demands!

It does not mean that your way will always be the best way but the two of you have to open up your lines of communication better, because if you don't not only are you setting up your child for failure but your relationship is bound to take so pretty bad hits to!!! Talk , agree, aply, and see it through!

He needs to know that this will develop into a problem later. Let him know that he can't give in to the whining or it will become a habit. Your daughter needs to know when no means no. In order for her to understand this you and your husband cannot give into the whining. Join now. User May 7, Leave a comment Create a free account with Care.

What my Daughters Need to Know about Picking a Husband

The current dating scene is a depressing place: too few suitable options and fewer still willing to commit. And far too many tears after yet another less-than-stellar first date. Such things should matter not one whit to me, a happily married year-old grandmother. But they do matter -- a lot.

Please guide my daughter to her future husband; she hopes and prays for a loving man with whom to share her life - her faith and raise a family. Thank you.

There are certain lessons only a mother can teach. A grandmother may not be as relatable, and a sister may not have enough wisdom — which is why it's up to Mom to initiate a heart-to-heart about matters of the heart. Although it can be a difficult subject to broach, your greatest gift to your daughter might just be the knowledge to face tough times and come out stronger. Here are the most important things young women need to know about love — and how to explain them.

Pray For Daughter To Find A Husband

I am a mother to two grown children — my 26 year old son and 31 year old daughter. My daughter is very dark-skinned and wears thick glasses. We have been looking for a husband for her for the past 8 years. Her self-esteem is very low and she is getting bullied by her colleagues. What can we do? If he refuses, then please ensure that for every curse he makes against your daughter, make ten duas for your daughter. I encourage you and your daughter to look at her test through the lens of the Akhirah, and not the short-sightedness of the dunya. Nothing is lost with Allah. Please do not be fooled by outward appearances.
